This proposal will destroy the entire habitat by clear-cutting the land. The debris from the construction activity on the property will contaminate the streams, wetlands, and water that flows into the Neawanna Estuary.

All the animals who live in this corridor will lose their habitat and be driven away by the construction activity.

The removal of the tree cover will accelerate erosion and significantly enhance the risk of a landslide. It may also increase the flood potential for Suzanne Elise at the bottom of the wetland areas.

There will be tens of thousands of trucks needed to perform the construction work. The daily disruptions and noise from the traffic in the surrounding neighborhoods, on Broadway driving past the schools and hospital would continue for many years to come.

This will destroy the kind of forest wonderland that we all love having here in the Pacific Northwest.
